Trainee – Data Analytics & Data Engineering (2 positions)
Join us as a Data Analytics & Data Engineering Trainee this summer and work hands‑on to make data easier to use across our organization.
📌 Location: Espoo, Finland
📅 Application Deadline: 6 March 2026
We are looking for two Trainees in Data Analytics & Data Engineering to support our data team during the summer. You will work under guidance on selected data development tasks.
Depending on your interests and strengths, your role will focus on some (but not all) of the areas listed below.
Your work may include:
Developing and improving semantic models (DAX)
Power BI report development
Data warehouse development and SQL-based data modeling (T-SQL)
Working with Power Query (M)
Building and maintaining data pipelines using Azure Data Factory
Developing data-related automations using Power Automate
Contributing to the development of a Data Catalog AI Agent
Supporting data documentation and usability improvements
Helping improve how data is used in Power BI and Excel across the organization
You will be involved in practical, hands-on development work that helps make data easier to find, understand, and use across the organization. We do not expect you to have mastered these technologies.
However, to succeed in the role, you should have some hands-on experience with data-related projects, gained through studies, work experience, voluntary activities, or personal projects.
In your application, please describe:
What data or analytics projects you have worked on (e.g. using Excel, Power BI, SQL, Azure Data Factory, Power Automate, Python, or similar tools) in your studies, work, or personal projects?
How you have used AI in your studies, work, or personal projects?
Whether you are more interested in Data Engineering or Data Analytics, and why?
We value curiosity, analytical thinking, and a proactive attitude. You will receive guidance and support, but the role also requires the ability to work independently, as development work often involves problem-solving and learning along the way.
